Since Maya is an only child, we try our best to give her what she wants for as long as it will develop her character and help her learn new things. Even at her young age of 8, she already displayed an interest in horses and she’d love to have her own pet horse. The cost of purchasing a horse doesn’t fit our budget, we had to save up and wait for several years before buying her a horse. Besides, we have to be sure that she really wants a horse and it’s not just a passing whim. She was so happy and elated when we finally gave her Black Beauty. Black Beauty is not as young as we thought her to be. The primary reason why we were able to buy the horse was because the owner was facing foreclosure of his farm and he wanted to save his farm and home thus, he was forced to sell his prized possessions.
