There are many clever animals in the world there is no doubt about that but what are the cleverest ones in the world and what makes them so clever. These are just some of the amazing creatures. Apes are not on the list because everyone already knows about them.
Dogs
Although these animals are man’s best friend are they clever?. A lot of creatures can actually be trained to do this, because it is easy for dogs to learn does it make them clever. They are not only very friendly animals if trained correctly they understand human emotion and if loyal to an owner will be able to tell when they are upset and will jog over to comfort them.
Cephalopods
Cuttlefish, squids and Octopi may not seem like smart animals but they do have big brains indeed. these animals actually share a lot when it comes to the human brain and added to this the brain takes up most of the oesophagus which means they are pretty brainy creatures. When humans have left a tiny hole in the glass in which they have captured an Octopus in they have been known to squeeze out meaning they know what they are doing. They are very curious animals and are subject to a lot of boredom.
Dolphins
These animals have been said to be some of the cleverest in the world second to humans and chimps, they can use tools and have been known to have sounds and whistles for individual names for eachother, truly amazing stuff. Once trained these animals are very friendly to humans and can perform amazing tricks and stunts. I was lucky enough to swim with of these amazing creatures so I know firsthand just how clever they are.
