Ferrets also litter train if you spend some time with them. You will have to make sure that they have the right litter box and train them to use it but it saves on bedding and cleaning in the long run.
No matter the size of the cage that you buy make sure that it fits your ferret. Ferret cages cannot be aquariums or things like that. It is also important to remember ferrets are very smart. In fact you pet is very responsive to ferret training. If they can escape a cage they will.
